OUR VISION:
To help one orphan, one orphan to help ten orphans, and ten orphans to help a hundred orphans. (We shall train an orphan to be sensitive to the lives of orphans when he/she grows up)
OUR MISSIONS:
We are restoring orphans into their home of inheritance in Christ Jesus. (Give them good life and environment so that they can feel like other children.)

The beautiful heart of giving and caring orphans is found in only few people. God enables good men and women to meet the needs of the afflicted orphans and street children. The precious act and response to the Word of God is complying with the Word of God written in James 1:27, James 1:27, “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
Above all, the best gift we can give to the orphans, is the Word of God, to show them the eternal Kingdom, to teach them the righteous way that leads to Heaven. Teach the orphans and tell them to know the true God and Jesus our Lord and Savior of human kind. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Doing good thing to others, is not for specific people or the rich people, but for those whom God puts burden of helping in their hearts. Remember Tabitha in the Bible Acts 9:36-42 and Cornelius in Acts chapter 10:1-48. We have many rich people in the world but God did not use them to help the afflicted people. Remember the Bible story of the rich man and the Poor man Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31. The little you have at hand is very precious and huge in God presence when you give cheerfully.
The piece of land at Namanjalala market, that has a children’s home and a church, Salvation and Redemption Gospel Ministries, was bought by Douglas Zook from USA. This is under Hope House Foundation Kenya for the caring of orphaned children. The land costed Ksh. 350,000 in the year 2018. Currently ( this year 2026) the land is worthy Ksh. 700,000 the land size is a quarter of an acre.
We also have our school called Hope and light academy that helps the orphans get their basic needs. There is an open free admissions and scholarship for any orphan below ten years with the prove of two dead certificates of mother and Father as well as the child’s birth certificate that shows the parents. If the child orphan is in Baby class, he/she will be cared in the Children’s home and learn in Hope and light academy more than 12 years and honor and glory will be for the Living God and Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Mark 10:13-16., “And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.”
Jesus valued children and made them examples for Christians values. The future generations will be at mess when no Christian Foundation established for the young children.
However, the church should recognize the extreme potential and openness of children to the Gospel and the things of God. As a result, we should prioritize reaching children at such a critical age. When we wait to lay that foundation of truth when they are teenagers or adults, we miss the most influential years of their lives, and many will consequently deal with years of the enemy’s deception toward the things of God.
The goal of the Children ministry is to ensure children have personal relationship with Jesus. When the children have a strong foundation on the solid word of God, then the future generations will be healed through Salvation in Christ Jesus.
Compose songs out of the learning materials from the Bible
Create drama ( play) from the learning materials from the Bible
Create video class from the learning materials of the Bible.
make child to child questions from the lessons of the Bible.
Arrange memory verses from the lessons of the Bible.
Teach children oral translation from English to swahili and swahili to English and Bible terms.
Identify and stir up other talents of the children like athletic, soccer, comedian, news reporter, Preacher etc
The orphans and other children will spread the truth to other children, youths, to crusades, conferences, private and public schools.
As we apply this program we shall focus on safety of the child, age setting, dedicated volunteers, interactive activities and family partnership.
